If you imagined a glacier at 3080m of elevation as a deserted spot, think again. Live 3000 in La Plagne, France is part of Paradiski, a large ski resort, and this webcam makes a lively wallpaper.
Everything’s changed since I last visited in 2012. There’s a new gondola, a café, and some beautiful outdoor seating and tables. Daytimes are busy for much of the year – you’ll see hikers in the Summer and skiers throughout the winter. It’s technically one of the best cams from Trinum: high resolution, good colour, and gets good captures day and night. Sunsets are particularly watchable and usually a quiet time.
