In my ongoing attempt to ensure that my favourites list includes some non-French webcams, I present Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. This ski area is on the Swiss-Italian border, accessed from Zermatt and Cervinia respectively.
Most European resort cams are less fun to watch in the Summer, unless you’re really into gravel; Matterhorn Glacier Paradise is a serious exception. This webcam works pretty well as a live Windows desktop if you have a two-screen setup. You can position the Breithorn on the left and some of the ski infrastructure buildings on the right, with beautiful continuous snow running all the way between them – something I find helpful once the ski season has ended.
